Office Space

Wire Magazine recently spoke about how seating arrangements in offices reflect an office’s (and a culture’s) ideas about work. There are setups that range from reflecting a factory to a “cube farm” full of cubicles – but it also highlights our virtual world and how that is changing the shape of work, literally and figuratively.

It speaks to the culture of PerkSpot that we’re a basically a combination of all these office setups. Divided by these crazy things called bloxes that we’ve built into makeshift walls, we’re part cube farm, part collaborative pod, part virtual network  (part of our tech staff works virtually from another city entirely).

Hat tip to XPlane’s Business linkblog for being all they can be and linking to wonderful things we like to read.
