Buying Individual Health Insurance

posted on: July 17, 2009

Sounds scary, right?

Probably because your corporate employees aren’t taking Voluntary Benefits For Beginners and Insurance 101 in high school. We’d bet that more folks could tell you how to say hello in 3 languages than could tell you the difference between an HMO and a PPO. (Hint: PPOs don’t require you to choose a primary care physician, and you don’t need referrals…but you’ll pay less if you stay in the network of your insurance company. With HMOs you MUST stay in the network, no ifs ands or buts. Get it?)

With GoHealth on PerkSpot’s employee discount program, understanding and purchasing insurance packages is straightforward and actually pretty easy. Just another great perk to simplify the process for both your human resources department and your employees.  Get the full story here (be sure to download the buyer’s guide…everything you could want to know, and in normal-sized text!) , but head over to our site to browse around to get an idea of how painless purchasing insurance and voluntary benefits can be.
